I hope everyone had an awesome weekend. A few things about this week...
- We will FINALLY have reading groups and the students will start having books in their reading folders (YAHOO!). It has been a crazy first few weeks of school with the priority going to learning rules and procedures, attending the school and public library, hands-on field trips, finishing assignments, hands-on manipulative activities, cooking, cleaning up after yourself, problem-solving skills, becoming independent, and HAVING FUN!!! Last week we learned the skills and procedures for centers, so this coming week we will finally do groups and get individualized reading books!

- We have many schedule changes effective this week. Please see the updated schedule under the tab above. The highlights are the change in lunch time making morning snack more critical and the change in time of enrichments on Tues. & Thurs. mornings to assist with a more consistent routine.
- Library trip this week will be via the small bus directly to Imaginon. We will also be trying out a new time to see if there are not as many other schools present at the same time. We will leave school at 9:45 and return by 11:15.
- PTO Fall Festival is this Friday!!! Please come and join us! Students are not allowed to attend without their parents or a written note allowing someone else to take your child.
- If you have not already donated to the Annual Campaign, please send in your pledge as soon as possible. We want to get 100% class participation!
- I want to say THANK YOU to Noah's mom for sending in a last minute treat for the fire fighters. I am sure they enjoyed it after our trip!!!
