It was WONDERFUL meeting everyone at the Scholars Academy Move-Up day!!! Those of you who were unable to attend, the documents and hand-outs are available as attachments below. Mrs. Zagorski and I are so excited to be teaching Kindergarten together next year and want your child to be as prepared as possible. Please work on independence over the summer with bathroom skills, opening and closing lunch and juice containers, and packing and unpacking bags at the pool, park, camp, etc. This will truly facilitate your child's learning next year. Below is a list of academic skills your child should know upon entering Kindergarten. If they are still struggling with some things, that is OK! It's a list to work towards and practice in fun ways. If your child can already complete the list of skills below, that is fantastic as well and they will be ready to hit the ground running in August. We still do not have class assignment information or staggered entry plans. I will post the info. and email it out as soon as it is available!
Enjoy your summer!!!
