Weekly News

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! We had a wonderful week learning about apples last week and will continue the apple fun into this week as well.  We will also learn about the season of Fall this coming week.

• THANKS to everyone who sent in apples last week.  We've been using them for math and science explorations and will use them to make applesauce and apple pie this coming week. 
• Also, a huge THANK YOU to the parents who came in and assisted with Apple Fun Day.  It was a great opportunity to see how the classroom runs and helped me out tremendously.  

This Friday, October 3rd progress reports will go home.  I will post all about grades later this week before they go home. =)  Friday we will also be visiting Imaginon library.  Please send your child's Imaginon books to school to be returned or return them at any public library previous to the trip so your child doesn't have fines and is able to participate.

One last thing for today's blog post... We have an amazing opportunity of sharing 6 iPad minis with the other Kindergarten class to share and use within our classroom for assignments and activities.  However, before we get access to them, we need to have screen protectors and cases for them (we do not want one to break while we use them).  Both, Mrs. Zagorski and I are asking if there are any parents willing purchase/donate a screen protector or a case for the iPad minis.  We have found some on Amazon.com at the following links:
