WOW! I did not realize that I had skipped almost two weeks on the blog! I really did not have much to report other than the Sign-Up Genius pages that were sent out via email. A few updates for you...
SNOW DAYS
Man... those came out of no where! I hope everyone was able to spend some surprise time with their families and enjoy the winter wonderland that Charlotte was presented with. I know that we are on the brink of winter being over, but if there is ever a time that the weather is poor in your area of town or you feel unsafe travelling to school, please let me know and use your best judgement for what is right for your family.
Groundhog's Day
Groundhog's Day is this Sunday, February 2nd. Due to the unexpected snow days, we did not have a chance to make our predictions. If you have a chance, please have your child make a prediction about whether or not the groundhog will see his shadow. We will do our activities on Monday. =)
100th Day of School
The 100th day of school (as long as we do not miss any more days of school) will be Friday, February 7th. We will have a TON of fun activities that day and subsequent days to celebrate. There will be a few items that we will need for the celebration. If you are able to send in any items, please sign up here. There is also a project that will be posted soon.
Other Information
Yearbook orders are now due Wednesday, Feb. 7th.
Class pictures will also be Weds. Feb. 7th before we leave for our field trip to the Schiele Museum.
