Weekly News

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  There is not much news to report this week.

*Last Friday we went to Imaginon.  The kids checked out books that they wanted as well as a book (or 2) about a community helper for our upcoming studies.  The community helper books will stay at school.  I will make sure that they are returned when we go back to the library next week so please do not be alarmed if you check your child's account and see a few books that never made it home (relating to community helpers).

*We will be going to the MRSA library on Wednesday.  Please make sure your child brings back their books.

*We are almost to 100 books and earning our movie!  Please make sure your child is reading and recording their books from their reading folder so they can be switched as soon as possible!

*School Musical is this Friday morning for the school to watch.  It should be a great time and a wonderful way to support the students who have worked so hard.

*Last week we learned about Earth Day, reduce, reuse, recycle, made crayons and homemade bags, and started our studies on sand, clay, and loam.  We also worked on 3D shapes, writing to explain, JGB stories with predicting and inferring, and making words.

Have a great week!
