More Classroom Info!

More important information!!!

WHEW.... we have a lot of announcements.  If you're still reading, thanks!!!  I try to keep everyone as informed as possible, and sometimes we have more to say than others.

ICE CREAM PARTY
We will be having an ice cream party on Friday in celebration of 100% class participation from the Development team.  If your child has any allergies or medical concerns, please send in a separate snack or advise me on what he/she is able to eat.

THANKSGIVING FEAST
We will be learning about what it means to be Thankful as we student the First Thanksgiving starting next week.  We will be having a Thanksgiving Feast in place of lunch on Tuesday, November 26th.  Our feast will be from 12:00-1:10.  Please sign-up on here to bring an item.  It does not have to be traditional American Thanksgiving foods.  It can be any foods that are traditional for your family to eat and share over Thanksgiving or family gatherings.  Please list the item you plan to bring.

If you are joining us during the feast, please make note of that on the sign-up as well or email me to let me know.  This will allow me to have as many chairs and plates/utensils as are necessary for our guests.

Dishes for our feast can be brought in at the time you are joining us for the feast or sent in that morning.  Please make sure the cranberries, potatoes, and OJ are sent in by Monday!  The students will be cooking mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce to contribute to the feast as we learn what it means to appreciate hard work and coming together for a meal together.

THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!
I want to thank everyone for their generous donations for the IKEA furniture piece.  In 2 days it has already made a remarkable change in the students' ability to find their station work and it has helped our class stay cleaner and less chaotic.  Thanks to your donations, I was able to purchase the furniture with only personally paying $40.  I am SO thankful and appreciative for the support and generosity and will continue to smile each time the students get excited that they are independent and can find their materials!

SCHOOL-WIDE TOWN HALL MEETING IS THURSDAY.

MAKE-UP PICTURES ARE FRIDAY.
