Some Info. & What's to Come Next Week!

We have had a BUSY week this week.  We've had buddies and all-around enjoyed each other's company.  We have some new things to come with regard to technology and social studies throughout the year.  Tomorrow I will tell your children about it!  They are excited.  In a nutshell, we will be blogging with other schools around the world and your child will be able to blog about his/her learning and experiences.  In order to ensure your child's safety throughout our technology experiences, please read through and sign the technology consent form.  If you have ANY questions, please let me know. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dHRLSTRnZWtCMEVXWVBKZk8xMzdvQWc6MA  I will announce our new Kidblog on Monday, as that is the first day we will be in the spotlight of Quadblogging.  

I also want to touch base on the All About Me project that went home yesterday.  I talked about the project with the class today and reinforced that this is their project, not yours. =)  Please allow your child to take charge of their learning with as little interference as possible.  Also... in regards to the worksheets that are attached, I forgot to X out the shelter planning sheet on the back of one of the pages.  Please disregard this worksheet and only complete the about me, my family, and address/phone number/etc. worksheets.  Let me know if you have any questions.
