Important Information and Updates

I wanted to make sure I sent out this important information about this week.  I was waiting as long as I could for some last minute updates... but now want to make sure everyone gets this email.  

Field Day-  Field Day is TOMORROW at Park Road Park.  Please drop your child off there between 8:15-8:30.  Miss Crowther and I will meet you at the field as well.  We will have the bright blue field trip shirts on and we will have each child's shirt with us as well.  

      **Please make sure your child has his/her water bottle!!!  They will be able to be refilled at field day but we are not handing out plastic water bottles.  It is VERY important that your child have a water bottle to remain healthy and hydrated. 

      **The students will return back to school via bus after field day for a cool, calm, relaxing lunch.  Please make sure you pack your child's lunch. 

      **If you want your child to wear sunscreen, you must apply it personally at home.  Hats are allowed on sunglasses but please refrain from sending sunglasses or additional props. 

      **Please make sure your child is wearing tennis shoes for safety as well!   

      **If it rains this evening for the field to be too wet or if it rains tomorrow, field day will be at the school and we will meet in the classroom between 8:15-8:30 as well.  

IF YOU WISH TO TAKE YOUR CHILD HOME FROM FIELD DAY, YOU MUST SIGN HIM/HER OUT WITH ME PRIOR TO LEAVING.  PLEASE LET ME KNOW AHEAD OF TIME IF YOU PLAN TO DO THIS AS WELL. 

Author Chair- Our author chair event will take place on Wednesday immediately following lunch.  I really really  hope you are able to attend and hear the stories/see all the hard work your child and his/her classmates have done.  After the event, I will be presenting the students with their memory books!!!  It's always a favorite milestone of mine as the students read back through the memories of the school year and share them with one another and their loved ones.    PLEASE EMAIL AND LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE ATTENDING AND HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ATTENDING SO I CAN GET ADULT CHAIRS! 

Luau- If you have not already done so, please sign-up to bring items to our Luau this Thursday.  Details of the event are on MRSAEvents or previous blog posts.  We need food, items, and volunteers so everyone can help in one way or another! 

Please email me if you have any questions and let me know when you'll be joining us so we can be prepared!  We hope to see as many faces as possible as we celebrate various milestones of Kindergarten this week!!!
