Well, we finally made it to Friday and finished all of our Terra Nova testing. The class did an awesome job remaining quiet and respectful during the test as well as afterward in the halls and classrooms while other classrooms finished up. As a reward for so much brain power and hard work we are watching A Goofy Movie this afternoon!
This weekend is Memorial Day weekend, which means no school Monday. I hope everyone is able to relax with their families in preparation for the last 2 busy BUSY weeks of school that remain.
Pizza on the Green: Tuesday, May 28th will be our pizza on the Green/last Imaginon library trip. We will be leaving school at lunch time (11:15) to drive on the small bus to uptown. We should arrive to the green sometime around 11:30/11:40 after parking, etc. We will be eating our pizza lunch and playing on the Green for a little while before going to the library. We'd love it if you'd like to join us (especially those who work in uptown)! We do not have room on the small bus, so joining families and friends will need to meet us there. I will purchase several pizzas. Sides and drinks will not be purchased.
**Please pack your child a lunch or several snacks!!! They will take their lunchboxes and water bottles with them to the Green to eat with their pizza.**
Author Chair Share: The Author Chair Share will be on Wednesday, June 5th from 11:45-1:15. I hope everyone is able to attend and relish in the hard work each child did writing his/her own book. Please check MRSAEvents.com for more information or to bring a treat!
